La Fradera is an old 19th-century stone house located 600 meters above sea level on the east side of the beautiful “Les Guilleries” Mountains, in Santa Coloma de Farners area and with views over the La Selva region.
In this retreat center, long and short-term retreats have been held for many years. During 8 years, it served as a retreat center for Buddhist monks.
It is surrounded by wilderness, immersed in silence, with the beautiful presence of a water stream and ideal for contemplative practice and reconnection to nature and self.
The center is now open for individual and group retreats and it hosts all the different contemplative and nature based activities organized by transalquimia.org
